KC Shakespeare Festival

The RU Alumni Office and RU English Department invite you to join us for an evening in the park with the KC Shakes! What better way to spend a summer evening than with RU alumni, family and friends learning about Shakespeare from Rockhurst professor, Dr. Kovich and seeing the show Much Ado About Nothing presented by the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival.

Event Details:
6:30 p.m. -  Much Ado About Nothing Lecture and Q&A with Dr. Kovich  (This will take place at Southmoreland park in the VIP tent)
7:30 p.m. - Take seats in RU reserved section (bring your own blanket or lawn chair)
8 p.m. - Show begins 

All guests will have the opportunity to come early for a pre-show lecture on Shakespeare by Dr. Kovich that the whole family will enjoy. RU has reserved seating on the lawn to all enjoy the show together. Light appetizers will be provided during Dr. Kovich's lecture. We encourage all guests to BYOB and blanket/chair to sit on for the show.

Cost to attend: $8/person, includes reserved seating and light appetizers. Part of the cost to attend will be included in a donation to KC Shakes.
