Leadership & Ethics Day is an annual event at Rockhurst University, hosted by the College of Business, Influence and Information Analysis (CBIIA). We have invited KC-area alumni back into the classroom for this year's event to present to our students. However, we are excited to offer a virtual session at 12:30 p.m. that all Rockhurst faculty, staff, alumni, and students are invited to attend. The list of panelists is below.

Paul Carden, ’81 - Disaster Services Officer, American Red Cross

Paul has been working with the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region (NCR) for the past seven years as the Regional Disaster Officer. In this role, working with staff and volunteers, he assures the delivery of Red Cross Disaster Cycle Services, Preparedness, Response and Recovery. Paul represents the NCR on the following committees and groups: Washington Metro Council of Government Regional Committee, REF- 5 Emergency Managers, R-ESF 6/8 Mass Care and the Emergency Preparedness Committee. He is also a member of the following National Special Security Committees, Health and Medical and FEMAs Consequence Management Committee.

 

 

 

Lance Williams, ’05 - Vice President of Product Management & Transform Assisted Segment Leader, Intuit 

Lance has worked in Silicon Valley technology for most of his career and currently serves as Vice President of Product Management for Intuit. Lance focuses on building products that disrupt the antiquated brick and mortar financial industry by utilizing elegant digital design and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence to create superior alternatives to legacy financial industry solutions.  Prior to joining Intuit, Lance worked at Apple for almost a decade leading a global ecommerce technology and product management organization.  Lance lives in San Diego, California with his wife and teenage son.  They enjoy surfing, hiking, live music and exploring the many arts and cultural activities in Southern California. Lance has degrees from Baker University, DePaul University and earned his Executive MBA from Rockhurst University in 2005. 

 

 

Chrissy Wingbermuehle, ’12 - Director of Marketing, Federal International, Inc.

Chrissy Wingbermuehle is the Director of Marketing at Federal International, Inc., a St. Louis-based company with a focus on recycling, sustainability and manufacturing. In her role, Chrissy oversees the marketing strategy for the parent company and its business units. Prior to Federal International, Chrissy worked at global real estate company Cushman & Wakefield, where she led a variety of internal and external marketing communications initiatives for the Property Management and Investor Services business lines. Chrissy is a 2012 graduate of Rockhurst University and has a master's degree in strategic communication from the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
