Return to the Classics to Discuss Gordon Marino's "Basic Writings of Existentialism"

In his book, Marino includes writings by the foremost representatives of the movement: Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Ralph Ellison, Martin Heidegger, Soren Kierkegaard, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre and Miguel de Unamuno y Jugo who are united in their belief that life has no inherent meaning; therefore, humans must determine meaning for themselves. Discussion led by Tom Ventresca, '70.
