Biography
Dr. Becker serves as assistant professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Rockhurst University. Her primary teaching interests are in the areas of language development and disorders, early childhood, and autism. Her research is focused on pre-linguistic communication in children with developmental disabilities and early childhood intervention. Dr. Becker has over 20 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist, and she enjoys connecting that experience to classroom learning.
