Set up an RU career account with us by attending a registration workshop in Massman 3 offered:

  • Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
  • Thursdays at 1 p.m.

Career Preparation

Schedule an appointment to take advantage of the following resources, all available within a comfortable, professional environment:

  • Video mock interviews and critiquing
  • Dining etiquette
  • Professional dress

Workshops and Presentations

Staff are available to present on career-related topics including resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, career search strategies and more.

Internships

Earn academic credit for your internship by enrolling in our co-op program. Internships allow you to test drive career options in an authentic working environment, put academic theories into practice and sharpen real-world skills. To be eligible for an internship, you must:

  • Be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum of 60 completed credit hours
  • Have a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Be able to work a minimum of 120 hours during the semester

Career Services is located in Massman 3. Schedule an appointment during office hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, by contacting 816-501-4061. Walk-ins are welcome daily between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Staff are also available to meet with alumni by appointment before or after regular office hours.
