Secure your Spot at RU:

  1. Financial Aid: File your FAFSA to apply for additional financial aid and review our tuition and fees.
  2. Enrollment Deposit: Log into your RU Application Portal to submit your $200 nonrefundable enrollment fee to secure your spot in the incoming class.
  3. Campus Housing: After submitting you enrollment deposit, you will be able to complete the housing intent form to apply for on-campus housing, or an off-campus waiver (housing intent applications will be available in late January).
  4. Class Registration Events: Why wait until summer to set your fall college schedule? Meet with advisors and faculty to select classes, finalize housing and meal plan options, take your student ID picture, set up your RU email, and more. You'll leave an official Rockhurst University Hawk!
  5. Consider RU your home away from home, and visit us as much as you want!

Pre-Orientation Checklist:

  1. Attend one of our class registration days in April and May (invites and details are sent in March). 
  2. Check out our health insurance and immunization requirements and complete a waiver if applicable.
  3. Set up your email account by contacting helpdesk@rockhurst.edu or 816-501-4064 and check email weekly for any updates over the summer.
  4. Find answers to questions about freshman move-in.
  5. Start thinking about which student organizations you’re interested in.
  6. Order your books.
  7. Purchase a parking permit to pick-up during orientation.
  8. Review our student consumer information.
