Rockhurst University is proud to be part of the KC Scholars program, funded by the Kauffman Foundation and 70+ community partners. Through this program, Rockhurst provides financial and support services for low- and modest-income students and adults across six counties in the Kansas City area.
The KC Scholars program offers three scholarship options:
- Traditional Scholarship
Each year, KC Scholars will give 250 traditional scholarships to eligible 11th graders. The traditional scholarship offers up to $10,000 per year for up to five years.
- Adult Learner Scholarship
KC Scholars will give 200 adult learner scholarships annually to adults ages 24 and above at the time of fall college enrollment. The adult learner scholarship offers up to $5,000 per year for up to five years.
- College Savings Match
Available to ninth-grade students selected through an application process, this option offers a four-to-one match on contributions into a 529 college savings account. Maximum match granted is $5,000, but an additional $2,000 is available in incentives for completing key college-ready milestones in high school.
Apply by March 3 for 2017 scholarships.
