2017 Library Guild Critique Luncheon

Join the Rockhurst University Library Guild for the annual Critique Luncheon featuring local author Candice Millard. Candice is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The River of Doubt and Destiny of the Republic.

Candice recently released her latest book entitled Hero of the Empire: The Boer War and the Making of Winston Churchill. Candice will speak on her research and experiences in writing her novel. In this 50th Anniversary year we will honor our Library Guild past presidents during the luncheon. Books will be available to purchase. 

All guests will enjoy a wine reception followed by a luncheon and book review by Candice Millard at noon. Cost to attend is $60 per person or $550 for a table of 10. Seating will be limited. About the Author
