Musica Sacra presents one of the greatest and most popular of Mozart’s sacred choral works: The Coronation Mass. Composed in April, 1779 for Easter Mass at Salzburg Cathedral, the work is among the finest of Mozart’s compositions. Concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. with Live Program Notes at 6:45 p.m. presented by Timothy McDonald, Ph.D., Rockhurst University professor of music and Musica Sacra director.
